Jason has 27 years of experience in the duty free industry in China, including 12 years at the procurement department at Sunrise Duty Free.  Sunrise Duty Free is a Chinese duty-free operator in charge of the procurement of tobacco, alcohol, fragrance, and cosmetic categories. Jason has recently joined Hainan Holdings (GDF) as their Vice President. GDF is one of the 10 duty free license holders authorized to operate in mainland China.

In 2013, Jason founded Amberich International (HK) Limited, a consulting company that focuses on brand and project management, retail space design, and duty-free industry training. Jason has also founded the WeChat account DFE (DutyFreeExpert), one of the earliest industry media that shares sector news and provides insights on global and China’s duty-free industry.
