Liya first joined Pernod Ricard in 2000 after graduating from Fudan University in Shanghai and held various Sales & Marketing positions in Pernod Ricard China before rising to the position of Group Brand Director (China) in 2016.

In 2021, Liya was appointed Vice President of Marketing for Global Travel Retail, moving to the London headquarters. During her 20-plus years with the French drinks giant, Liya has vigorously pursued excellence in the areas of marketing, e-commerce and retail, particularly in the context of passion and lifestyle brands. Her instincts and finely tuned skills have proven formidable for Pernod Ricard in this critical recovery period for the travel retail industry and the wider travel & tourism ecosystem.
